A-One+ Area 7 Celebrate Multiple Success at ICE East Midlands Merit Awards 2015

Innovative products, projects and teamwork are set to change the way of thinking for key decision makers in highways maintenance following major recognition at the prestigious ICE East Midlands Merit Awards and CIHT Awards 2015.

A-One+ Area 7 were delighted to receive acclamation in several categories at these industry recognised awards.

At the Institution of Civil Engineers ICE East Midlands Merit Awards 2015 Doug Coutts, Area 7 General Manager was proud to receive not one but two winners awards in the categories of Team Achievement & Small Project categories for The East Midlands Pinch Point Delivery Team and A46 Cossington to Seagrave, Area 7 Low Temperature Asphalt Demonstration entries.

Mr Coutts didn't have long to wait until he had to represent his company again when the Mobile Mapping in the East Midlands Project was commended in the Studies and Research Award category.

But the good news didn't stop there. A-One+ Area 7 went on to be highly praised in three categories at the 10th Anniversary Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation Awards Ceremony in London.

Mr Coutts took great pleasure in receiving Highly Commended Certificates for the CIHT Colas Technological Application Award for the A-One+ & DBi Services Advanced Mobile Asset Collection project and again in the CIHT Employer Award for Excellence in Skills Development Award for JuMP UK Network.

A-One+ Area 7 then went on to celebrate further credit when they were Commended for the A-One+ & DBi Services Advanced Mobile Asset Collection project in the CIHT Ringway Innovation Award.

Mr Coutts thanked everyone involved in the projects which formed the basis of their award submissions, which resulted in industry leading work to use for their entries. Delivering new ideas and technologies raising our profile as leaders in our area of expertise.

Andy Jamieson, Manager at A-One+ said 'we faced strong and diverse competition from the whole of the industry'. Then went on to say he was delighted at having a total of 8 submissions shortlisted across the two major Awards which was a great achievement and well deserved recognition for all the dedication shown by those involved.
